Can't thank @AAOMPT podcast team enough for the invitation and for providing a platform to discuss our work on RTS testing!

Check out my boy @JayLos18 discuss his super popular paper from @JOSPT on second ACL injury risk and the use of RTS criteria with @AAOMPT

What a brutal day...It looks like torn ACL’s for:

Giants RB Saquon Barkley
*49ers DE Nick Bosa
49ers DL Solomon Thomas
Falcons RT Kaleb McGary
*Colts WR Parris Campbell
*Ravens CB Tavon Young

*Have had ACL injuries in the past

[Alex Garnaut, PT, DPT, SCS @AlexGarnaut_PT]

#SaquonBarkley injury shows that no matter how massive your quads are, you still can't "prevent" ACL injuries.
Still... Quads are King...

Always trying to push my clinic to invest in technology that will help our patients be stronger for longer. Test don't guess! #residencytrained @TriHealth

Advance pub in PTJ!

How frequently do orthopedic therapists use video-based motion analysis? This article suggests nearly half use this technology, with increased frequency observed in residency/fellowship trained therapists

Proud of @JayLos18 & colleagues for their work in the @aasptapta Excellence in Sports Research Platforms “Altered Knee Joint Loading in Those Who Fail Return-to-Sport Criteria after ACL Reconstruction”

Awesome work by all involved!

Got to do a little presentation this morning at #CSM2020 in Denver. Feels great to put all the hard work of residency towards this! @ Denver, Colorado https://t.co/IuCTHGyOXG

[Edward Smith PT, DPT, SCS, ATC @EddiePTATC]

Study out of JOSPT found that only 13.9% of ACL patients who were cleared to return to sport had passed all RTS criteria (strength, hop tests, IKDC). Long term on field success found in those who passed strength components as opposed to others. @kcrehabexpert #stronglikebull

This is really BAD information There is no evidence whatsoever that any of these 6 exercises prevent ACL injury https://t.co/KrvmutVe03 https://t.co/N2eE5FjduP https://t.co/eCtlZ39ao6 https://t.co/rEsbTSRNcm https://t.co/L5ygwM39LY https://t.co/OUZevFdeuY https://t.co/RJGExsw24K
