#450SocialSP24 My biggest takeaway is how ingrained the algorithms on social media is on everyday life including mine. My job specifically requires me to understand the algorithm to best get brands out there! Also the note that algorithms are AI and have been there for a while.

#450SocialSP24 The textbook describes the phenomena of flaming. Because people are hidden behind a screen they feel more comfortable sharing negative feelings/opinions. This to me brings canceled culture to mind, as many claim there is an increase of this due to online presence.

But I feel like they aren't, somewhere else entirely, conversations, videos, etc. I feel like this is contributing to loneliness. #450SocialSP24
