The situation has become extremely critical.

The regular feeder has been taken to the police station, leaving around 20 community dogs without anyone to feed or protect them. These innocent animals have reportedly been hungry for the last 4-5 days.

💔 Several small puppies have reportedly been locked inside a vacant plot, where they have no food or water. If they are not rescued immediately, they may not survive.

There are also reports that some dogs have been beaten, some have been illegally relocated, and people are allegedly threatening to kill the remaining dogs as well.

🚨 This is an emergency. We urgently need volunteers, rescuers, NGOs, animal lovers, and local residents to come together.

Please help by:
• Feeding the dogs and puppies.
• Providing clean drinking water.
• Rescuing the puppies trapped inside the vacant plot.
• Monitoring the area and protecting the remaining dogs from further cruelty.

भिलाई (छत्तीसगढ़) के कोसा नगर गौठान में गायों के नाम पर अमानवीय और घिनौना खेल चल रहा है।

एक मृत बछड़े की खाल में भूसा भरकर उसे गाय के सामने रखा जा रहा है, ताकि गाय उसे अपना बछड़ा समझे और उससे दूध निकाला जाता रहे। यह पशुओं के साथ क्रूरता ही नहीं, बल्कि गौ-सेवा के नाम पर चल रहा संगठित शोषण है।

सबसे बड़ा सवाल नगर निगम और संबंधित अधिकारियों पर है। जिस गौठान की जिम्मेदारी उनके पास है, वहां इतना बड़ा खेल कैसे चल रहा है? आखिर निगरानी किस बात की हो रही है? जब ऐसे मामले सामने आते हैं, तब व्यवस्था की जवाबदेही तय क्यों नहीं होती?

गौठान सेवा के लिए बने हैं, पशुओं के शोषण के लिए नहीं। अब इस पूरे मामले में जिम्मेदार लोगों पर सख्त कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए और पूरे नेटवर्क की जांच होनी चाहिए।

Absolute horror in Kollam, Kerala where a community dog was hunted and shot dead using a firearm. Local reports shamelessly claim this illegal execution was done "as per a Supreme Court verdict." This is a blatant, dangerous lie.

The facts:

1. Contempt of Court: The Supreme Court of India has NEVER sanctioned the culling, hunting, or shooting of street dogs. Falsely invoking the apex court's name to justify animal slaughter is a direct distortion of judicial orders and stands as clear contempt.

2. Under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and the Animal Birth Control (ABC) Rules, 2023, culling is completely illegal. The law mandates humane sterilization and vaccination and not execution.

3. Violence only escalates conflict. Local municipalities must be held legally accountable for failing to implement scientific ABC protocols and allowing armed vigilantism on the streets.

@TheKeralaPolice and @AwbiBallabhgarh must initiate immediate suo motu action against the perpetrators and the local authorities who permitted this lawless brutality.

An elderly woman who has been compassionately feeding community dogs was brut@lly attacked by a mob after a friendly dog merely jumped near a child in excitement. The child was not injured, yet this was used as an excuse for a pre-planned assault.

It is a terrifying precursor to violence against women and children in the home.

Indias decades old legal framework is failing both our animals and our communities. A ₹50 fine for animal abuse is an absolute mockery of justice that enables dangerous, violent offenders to walk free until their aggression escalates to humans.

We demand the immediate passage of the PCA Act Amendment Bill. We need stringent custodial sentences, standardized tracking of animal abusers, and strict legal bars to stop violent individuals from ever owning or exploiting animals again.

Animal cruelty is a community safety crisis. The law must reflect that.
