As a Holocaust Survivor Israel’s genocide in Gaza is not done in my name.
I see echoes of the Holocaust in Gaza today:
Dehumanisation, humiliation, large-scale killings, destruction of families and the determination in which they are destroying the whole of Gaza is very similar to the cruelty of the fascist regimes and it should not be controversial to say so.
What happened to the Jewish people, the industrial scale of extermination and invisible emotional pain, is so horrendous that it should never be repeated anywhere in the world.
That is why we say not in our name and Never Again.
Fascism thrives on indifference and the general public being intimidated or looking the other way due to self-preservation.
Don’t look the other way.
Be brave and on the right side of history.
Stephen Kapos
Maybe, just maybe, the mainstream media can focus a little less on colleges for a moment. Maybe they can take their cameras to Gaza and show us the emaciated children who are dying of malnutrition due to Netanyahu’s policies. Maybe they can show us the suffering going on there.
@AradaZsheger@seyoum_teshome If you ASSEND from 38k ft to 40K ft altititude, it is obvious that you will have to pass the 39K ft mark where the ETH plane is.
What exalts us as a nation is to overcome our own challenges. What may raise us as a country is the commitment of all Ethiopians to bring peace and stability.Out of our conviction to peaceful solutions to all disputes we will keep engaging all well-meaning actors. #UNSC#Ethiopia
@ethiopianlions Not the quickest path, but rather the shortest distance between two points. In this case, different forces are in play changing the acceleration/velocity of the ball.
@ShebaPushStart@AmericaEthiopia Your impassioned plea for justice in Ethiopia is undoubtedly fueled by a deep concern for the suffering of the people and your frustration is palpable.
It's crucial to address your points w/o resorting to personal attacks. Framing anyone who disagrees as a problem is wrong.
Today is a day of great pride for Ethiopians as we celebrate the official handover of “Tsehay” by the Italian Government. I extend my immense gratitude to Prime Minister @GiorgiaMeloni for her support over the past year in facilitating its return.
"Tsehay" is the first aircraft built in Ethiopia in 1935, under the collaborative efforts of the German engineer and pilot of the emperor, Herr Ludwig Weber, and Ethiopian individuals of that era.
I express my gratitude to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) for bestowing the prestigious Agricola Medal for our efforts towards the attainment of food security. Our focus on high value and industrial crops is yielding promising results and we are committed to our food sovereignty path.
