In Dec 1947 addressing the ML Council, Mr.Jinnah made an appeal to Muslims in India to reorganise themselves under correct leadership.
Liaqat Ali Khan, PM of Pak, then moved the resolution that the ML be split into 2 separate bodies, 1 for Pak and 1 for India, respectively.
