As I sent an email to our hotel for our last night in Sicily inquiring about the parking situation, I thought that my Italian would give away that I'm American, but then I realized that sending an email more than a month out asking where to park would be telling enough.
I'm imagining an academic lineage project but it's just identifying who originally made slides and the chain of how the heck it ended up in a new presentation years later
A moment of archaeology and adventure with Via Appia expert and friend @liana_brent. I would definitely recommend this as a day trip for anyone looking trips off the beaten path (well, the Via Appia was in excellent condition on this portion so maybe that doesn't apply)
Signed the last email to my Archaeology of Food class with "stay cool and eat well." Considering adapting this for all professional emails... a little spicier than "best."
