@shumaker_cory Many developmental needs and progressions are described in a sense of pyramids with solid foundations and potentially obtainable peaks. Not only is this a way to make a class/material more engaging but it is a way to test a student's understanding and ability. #EDUC200 #03fall21

@NashCosby Though this lass may not have been curriculum based, I think it's helpful to have proper communication between teachers and students. Both parties can make mistakes and work to help each other; this process starts with being transparent about expectations. #EDUC200 #03fall21

Today we discussed examples things that belong in The Commons and I found it interesting that we were not able to include human connection/relationships. The reasoning being that these interactions can require an emotional expense to create and are not free. #EDUC200 #03fall21

@HunterLaFrenie1 I know a lot of schools in VA are pushing for project based learning and trying to steer away from testing situations. This is a way for students to test their own knowledge while using a creative outlet. These projects can also be built upon, unlike a test #EDUC200 #03fall21
