Europe’s heatwave is closing schools and putting people’s health at risk.
@WHO is calling on leaders to prioritize investment in climate-resilient health systems while accelerating #ClimateAction.
We’ll be covering this story here: https://t.co/cdvB97sZQL
Climate change is one of the defining challenges of our time, and creating a more sustainable future calls for action on many fronts.
At ITC, one way we're doing this is through green buildings—reimagining the spaces we live, work and stay in to be more sustainable.
As part of our decarbonisation journey, we've invested in green buildings across hotels, factories, warehouses, residential and office complexes. Today, we're proud that 40 of these buildings are LEED® Platinum certified.
But what exactly makes a building green?
The answer lies in a range of multi-dimensional practices—from enhancing energy efficiency and increasing the use of renewable energy, to conserving water, improving indoor environmental quality, using recycled or low-carbon materials for construction, deploying passive cooling technologies, and designing buildings for longevity.
Together, these practices help create buildings that are better for people, and better for the planet.

AI data centres are hungry for land, water & power.
I’m calling on every major AI company to publicly disclose the full environmental impact of its systems – as a matter of transparency
No more hidden costs.
No more shifting the burden onto those least able to bear it.
It is time to come clean.
Congratulations Sir on the remarkable milestone of 25 years of @beeindiadigital .
The past 25 years have built a strong and resilient foundation for India’s energy efficiency movement. @narendramodi@mlkhattar@RRECL_official
Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RRECL) in collaboration with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) and Energy Consulting agency D2O, organised a two-day training programme on “Integrative Design Approach for ECSBC Compliance” was successfully conducted on 18–19 December 2025 for Engineers of the Rajasthan State Road Development Corporation (RSRDC).
The technical sessions were facilitated by Technical Mangers from RRECL and BEE-certified Master Trainer, Shri Aashu Gupta who provided comprehensive insights into Energy Conservation and Sustainability Building Code( ECSBC) provisions, energy simulation fundamentals, and their practical application in public sector infrastructure projects.
Such programmes are aimed for enhancing the understanding of Building sector professionals about Energy-efficient and Sustainable Buildings.
Annually, almost 4 million deaths are attributed to indoor air pollution worldwide, and in India specifically, approximately 4-6% of the national burden of disease is attributed to indoor air pollution as the major risk factor
