Es kann nicht klagen den Schmerz, kann dir seinen Dank nicht sagen, o, sieh sein flehendes Auge an, es blickt eine verwunschene Seele dich an.

Ich bewerte Menschen danach, wie sie Tiere behandeln. "Berufskrankheit" oder einfach schon immer so ... egal, sucht es euch aus.
Mich interessiert keine Parteizugehörigkeit, keine Abstammung, keine sexuelle Orientierung, ... .
Ich verabscheue jedoch Tierquälerei in jeglicher Form. Für mich gibt es kein Argument wie Religion oder Tradition.
Dagegen werde ich immer wettern, hier und auch im wahren Leben, verlasst euch drauf!
So und jetzt verschwinde ich. Habt eine Gute Nacht und wunderschöne Träume!

Denmark's Bold Stand: When Animal Welfare Meets Religious Tradition 🇩🇰

In 2014, Denmark drew a line in the sand. Every animal entering a slaughterhouse must be stunned before slaughter. No exceptions. No religious exemptions. The reason? To minimize suffering in an animal's final moments. 💔

This meant the end of unstunned kosher and halal slaughter practices that had previously been permitted. Animal welfare advocates cheered. The government was clear: protecting creatures from extreme pain takes priority. 🛡️

But the response wasn't unanimous. Jewish and Muslim communities pushed back hard, arguing that Denmark was trampling on their religious freedoms and centuries-old traditions. Some observers agreed, saying governments should protect both animal welfare AND religious rights. ⚖️

The law's supporters had a counterargument though: stunning animals doesn't ban religious meat production entirely. It simply adds one step—a humane one—before the traditional process continues. Today, halal meat is still produced in Denmark when this requirement is met. Kosher meat, however, is largely imported from elsewhere. 📍

Denmark isn't alone. Other European nations have adopted similar standards, turning this into a defining debate of our era: tradition versus compassion, rights versus welfare.

So we ask you: When deeply held beliefs clash with animal suffering, where should society draw the line?

Wieder aus den VAE zurück. Meinem Schützling samt Familie geht es ausgezeichnet. 🙏😍Tigger ist das beste Beispiel dafür, dass Tiere sehr wohl Empathie empfinden und sich erinnern. Ich habe ihn jetzt schon seit Jahren nicht gesehen aber er hat mich sofort erkannt. Obwohl er ein ausgenommen umgänglich und freundlicher Tiger ist, geht er auf keinen von sich aus zu - so sein zuständiger Tierpfleger. Als er mich sah, ist er aber sofort auf mich zugelaufen und hat mich "tigertypisch" mit Pusten und "umarmen" begrüßt. Ein unbeschreiblich schöner Moment. Davon werde ich lange zehren. Diese wunderschöne, geschundene Kreatur, die sich doch an mich erinnert ... unbezahlbar. ❤️‍🩹💔🐯♥️

Dogs picked up for sterilisation deserve dignity, compassion, and humane handling.

We respectfully urge the authorities to ensure that all dog-catching staff are properly trained in animal welfare and humane capture techniques. These voiceless souls should never be subjected to fear, pain, or rough treatment while being taken for sterilisation or vaccination.

If a dog is being picked up for a welfare programme, let it be done with kindness and respect. Every animal deserves to be handled gently and safely.

Sterilisation and vaccination are essential for both animal welfare and community well-being, but the process must remain humane at every step. Let us set an example of compassion and responsible care rather than causing unnecessary suffering.

A truly progressive society is measured by how it treats those who cannot speak for themselves.

Let's work together to ensure that every dog is treated with dignity, kindness, and respect.
