UPDATE: Court orders full revert to pre-Hobbs water rules for housing.

Katie Hobbs says she’s running to secure our water future and lower costs. Instead, her administration illegally rewrote the rules, froze new homes, spiked prices, and got slapped down by the court.

She also vetoed Republican bills that would have added water supply and restored lawful development pathways.

The result: Arizona taxpayers now face Prop 207 claims that could total hundreds of millions to over $1 billion.

Campaign slogans don’t fix the damage she caused.

This article of mine didn't get posted until now, but better late than never. Katie Hobbs REFUSED to be interviewed by Kris Mayes' office for this criminal investigation, yet Mayes still predictably exonerated her. Corruption at its finest, but Dems have to keep getting their cronies elected.

Mayes announced that she will not be filing charges against Hobbs over an alleged pay-to-play scheme. Hobbs was accused of granting Sunshine Residential Homes, a foster care group home provider, a substantial rate increase after the business contributed to her inaugural fund. This increase placed it a higher rate than other providers, who did not receive the increases.

Sunshine gave $100,000 to Hobbs’ 2023 inaugural fund. The company also gave $300,000 to the Arizona Democratic Party during 2022–2023. Additional contributions, including from company principals Simon and Elizabeth Kottoor, and later contributions of $150,000 went to a Hobbs legal defense fund.

Well. This is interesting.

The tabulator displayed an error. They don know why. But the tabulator matched the EMS. I am confident we have very smart observers in the BTC. That would have verified the data.

Here’s my beef. Tabulators have been known to be sabotaged. Not reflect the actual count.

Did they hand count those batches to see if they matched the tabulator?

Observers! Don’t trust the “glitch”. Hand count those ballots when an “error” occurs to verify.

You know what would eliminate doubt…

Arizona’s judges have taken the official position that they have special rights not enjoyed by ordinary citizens. Prosecutors cannot sue, investigate, prosecute or even criticize them. The state’s judges are, by their own rulings and handiwork, a protected class. Attorneys who challenge these rulings face discipline and disbarment.

Even the liberal U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has said the First Amendment gives lawyers the right to criticize judges. The Arizona Supreme Court has defied that ruling for DECADES. That’s how extreme Arizona’s courts and State Bar are.

As Maricopa County Attorney, I criticized judges for refusing to enforce publicly approved crackdowns on illegal immigration. This set into motion five years of nonstop State Bar proceedings against me at the behest of liberal judges and their allies. These actions culminated in a sham trial and travesty of a disbarment, one denounced by everyone from the Republican Party to liberal & moderate Arizona Republic columnists to Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network. My disbarment has chilled prosecutors ever since.

That was intentional. Bob Barr, a former U.S. Attorney and a House manager of President Clinton’s impeachment, stated under oath that the State Bar’s tactics against me were akin to those of the Mafia.

I regret there’s no easy solution here. Asking attorneys to take up this cause is demanding suicide. To the point, there’s an old fable often attributed to Aesop. A council of mice meet to figure out who will put a bell around the cat’s neck so they all know when it’s approaching them. The moral to the story still fits here: Who will bell the cat?

My best advice: Reform must come from the people. ⚔️

Arizona's situation is uniquely horrendous.

Here in Texas, it's very different. For example, when the State Bar tried to disbar @SidneyPowell1, a Texas attorney who helped @POTUS litigate the 2020 election, judges in both the district court and the appeals court shot them down.

Compare to the Arizona State Bar releasing the hounds on Trump and @KariLake attorneys post 2020 and 2022. Or, still worse, the California Supreme Court and State Bar flat-out disbarring @DrJohnEastman over accusations over the Trump 2020 reelection effort that were complete leftist horses**t.

Our situation here is fundamentally different because in Texas, unlike in those other states, our judges are ELECTED. ⚔️
