@SlotinCapital how&why could the US make formal concessions, especially before the midterms?
+same for iranian side.
why should the iranians agree before midterms to a big deal? why should trump agree to a small deal (nuclear talks later)?
@SlotinCapital you focus exclusively on interpreting signals but ignore the actors motives.
iran has made it clear that it will stick to its 7 demands.
any concessions that would be acceptable to iran are politically unviable within the us establishment and would also destroy trumps legacy.
@m4h007 bro got triggered after realizing the text is literally describing him with his recent "why are you guys posting a different opinion under my post?" comments 😁🤭
US House passes legislation that blocks federal aid for colleges and universities if they engage in discriminatory commercial or academic boycotts against Israel in 237-169 vote.

You cannot build influence without a strategy. Israel’s core problem is not a lack of better messaging or more sophisticated influence tools. It is that the country increasingly operates without a coherent long-term vision or strategy, while pursuing policies that put it at odds with much of the international community.
No Unit 9200, or any other influence operation, can solve that problem. Better technology cannot compensate for the absence of a credible policy.
It is similar to arguing that if Iranians had greater access to Starlink, the regime would somehow collapse. Technology and influence tools can create opportunities, but they cannot substitute for the political and strategic conditions required to achieve the desired outcome.
Israel keeps trying to treat the symptoms instead of confronting the underlying problem. Until it defines what it actually wants to achieve and aligns its policies accordingly, no amount of investment in strategic communications or influence operations will fundamentally change its international standing.
Nick Cleveland-Stout, a research associate at the @QuincyInst who has reported on the site, told the Guardian that his first impression was of something impressive. “It succeeds in masquerading as very academic – the website design, the logos, everything just looks good. But the more you read it, you’re able to realise that a lot of it makes no sense.”

@Glenn_Diesen He didn't publish his interview with Arestovych, got awarded an interview with Zelensky, and now he's doing a tactical reversal to have a chance for one with Putin.

The main function of the H-1B visa program is not to hire “the best and the brightest,” but rather to replace good-paying American jobs with low-wage indentured servants from abroad.
The cheaper the labor they hire, the more money the billionaires make.
