“Emergency policies are not enough to resolve Amazonia’s fire crises”
Remember when the sky in São Paulo got dark in the middle of the afternoon because of dense smoke clouds created by fires in the Amazon in 2019? https://t.co/wMwfCvUvTN

#BREAKING: For the first time, we’ve lived through 12 straight months with global warming of 1.5°C.
We haven’t passed the 1.5°C goal of the #ParisAgreement, but it’s a huge warning sign that we’re getting close.
We must do more to tackle the #ClimateCrisis, fast. 🚨

The seeds of Shorea siamensis have a winged design that allows them to spin as they fall slowing their descent and allowing the wind to carry them further from the parent tree. A brilliant example of nature's ingenuity in seed dispersal!
