A new term I just learned: "physical food insecurity": not being able to shop for food or prepare meals.

Sadly probably not uncommon in those with ME/CFS and other #spoonie chronic illnesses like long Covid

@cstroeckw Also diagnosed bi-polar & finally realized it was ME. Thankfully got the diagnosis removed from med records & improved my med care & patient experience. Still no treatment for ME, but less dismissed & more respectful listening. I hate it that mental diagnosis, -quality of care.

My older friend caught covid from her adult son. At the hospital, dr. said “You can either die struggling, or die sedated on the vent.” She typed goodbyes to her grandchildren & went on the vent. Nobody wore a mask at her funeral (I watched the live stream).

@saffronandsky Big empathy. I don’t know if this will help, but it’s been helpful to me. Try vitamin D for Dprsn & if your taking regularly add extra.

My allergist just suggested & so far it’s beneficial. I normally take 11,000 iu a day to stay in the 70’s. I got a topical for adding extra.

@KayElleTweets @shaboom @CIDRAP This isn’t new govt strategy unfortunately. Ohio Health dprtmnt told me no rabies in decades in 2000. I asked how the raccoon tested that was clearly infected that was killed at neighbors & took by police. Hlth dprtmnt said they never test. ☹️
