This week a Lincoln Court sentenced a prisoner to 12 months imprisonment for throwing a cup of urine over a Lincoln Officer in June 2019. This is actually a good result following this shocking and degrading assault on an innocent and hardworking Officer.

In light of the directions from our Prime Minister, social visits at HMP Lincoln will be suspended until further notice. At this time writing to prisoners is even more important. Emailaprisoner and Prison Voice mail are quick and easy.

Visits are planned as normal this weekend. My staff will be taking temperature checks of all visitors with a non touch device. Anyone with high temperature will given current circumstances not be approved to enter. The safety of you, your loved ones and my staff is paramount.
