I sincerely hope that the Court of Appeal of Eastern Finland is not waiting for instructions, signals, or political direction from the unapologetic neo-colonialist and the wannabe neo-colonialist before reaching a decision in the shambolic proceedings against H.E. Simon Ekpa.

And don’t blame me for asking the question. The corruption and institutional misconduct that have recently come to light, and the allegations that continue to emerge from within the Finnish government and its institutions, stink so badly that serious questions must be asked.

At what point does one begin to wonder whether Finland and its institutions are genuinely acting independently, or whether external political and diplomatic forces are exerting undue influence behind the scenes?

Judicial independence is not something that should merely exist on paper. It must be visible, credible, and beyond reasonable suspicion, especially in a politically sensitive case of this magnitude.

Here we have someone who operated inside Kokoomus publicly declaring that “the party itself is rotten” and that honest conduct does not get you far there.

To mention but a few.

Now consider what Biafrans have been alleging about Finland’s treatment of Biafran nationals, including H.E. Simon Ekpa: abduction, unlawful detention, torture and politically motivated prosecution. Consider also the serious questions we have repeatedly raised about Finland’s cooperation with the Nigerian genocidal regime and whether political and diplomatic interests have been allowed to overshadow human rights, due process and the independence of justice.

Then consider Hiltunen’s description of the political party at the heart of Finland’s present government: “the party itself is rotten” and “you don’t get far there with honest actions.”

H.E. Simon Ekpa was also a member of the party and one of the good ones, just like Elina Hiltunen. We are therefore entitled to ask whether these things are connected.

We are also entitled to ask why a government that presents itself internationally as a defender of human rights has maintained such a close relationship with Nigerian genocidal regime, while Biafrans continue to raise allegations of persecution, torture, killings and transnational repression.

When someone from inside the governing party describes the party itself as “rotten,” while Biafrans are simultaneously raising grave allegations about the conduct of Finnish authorities, the appropriate response is not censorship or outrage.

RE: NIGERIA AGENTS IN FINLAND COURT UNHAPPY ABOUT OPEN COURT DISCLOSURE

Our attention has been drawn that Nigeria agents sitting in Kouvola court are not happy that what Prime Minister Simon Ekpa said in *FINLAND OPEN COURT* was brought out to Biafrans.

We wish to state as follows:

1. Kouvola proceedings are OPEN COURT. Under Finnish law, open court means public. There is no secrecy. What is said in open court belongs to the public. Biafrans have right to know what their Prime Minister said in their defence.

2. If Nigeria agents are angry that truth came out, it confirms PM told truth. PM stated:
