OFFICIAL CLARIFICATION ON FAKE PHONE ZOOM VOICE OF PM SIMON EKPA IN ORLU STATE

The Government of the United States of Biafra has noted with concern the circulation of an audio-only recording in Orlu and Ireland Zooms claiming to be the voice of our Prime Minister, Simon Ekpa, from Finland detention.

After verification through official channels, we confirm:

1. The voice is NOT that of Prime Minister Simon Ekpa. It is an AI-generated clone deployed by individuals working with the Nigeria state, including Biafraunite, vam vam vam / fallback group and other known Biafra-Nigeria agents fighting the USB.

2. Pattern of the Nigeria government: “Having failed to defeat the USB Nation and its People directly, the Nigeria terrorist government now uses Biafrans themselves — supplying them with AI voice of PM Ekpa because they know Biafrans still respect his voice.

3. Their aim:* To solicit fraudulent tax funds, issue confusing referendum statements, cause infighting between Biafrans, and make Biafrans abandon the Referendum and our newly declared Christian Nation.

4. PM has given directives where necessary for these distractors to STOP and amend what they are doing and report to the USB authorities. CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF BIAFRA (USB)

United States of Biafra do acknowledge and affirmed with changes, the Charter of the Confederate State, also known as Biafra Helsinki Declaration in Finland, and herein referred to as Biafra Charter, unanimously adopted as a prelude Act by the Biafra Republic Government In Exile and the Biafra De Facto Government in Homeland, on October 21, 2023.

We the Peoples of the United States of Biafra:

RESOLVED to Redeclare the May 30, 1967 Biafra Independence; hereby actualize, renew, reaffirm, declare and continue in accordance and pursuant to the
Declaration, with all the implications thereof;

RECOGNIZE and SALUTE the sacrifice of our forefathers, our heroes who were martyred for the cause of our freedom and those who were killed because they are Biafrans.

RE-AFFIRM the Peoples and Nations of Biafra make neither war, nor peace, with the State or peoples of Nigeria, rather, we exercise a Natural right, a Popular right, a Political right, and a right supported by United Nations Organization Charter and International laws - the right to Self Determination, right to self-defense, and right to self-governance: in the certain realization that only the effective exercise of Self-Determination by the Peoples and Nation of Biafra will end the state of
occupation and subjugation by Nigeria.

PROCLAIM that we are one people of one nation - bound together in the ideology of nationhood. Our languages, cultures and traditions are but of a common root and founded by our ancestors.

ESTABLISH our nation under the Sovereign Control and Eternal Lordship of Elohim or as called in our various languages.

DECLARE that Peace, Unity, Progress and Equity shall be our drive. The sacrifices made by our heroes shall not be taken for granted.

AFFIRM that our nation shall be one of the finest in the world. We shall enforce our complete resolve to the rule of law, principles of equality of all Indigenous
People of Biafra before the law and strict obeisance to fundamental human rights as enshrined in this Constitution.

SUBMIT that we stand on the principles of equity between men and women and the rights of children as provided in this Constitution.

COMMIT to our sovereignty as BIAFRA NATION in strict respect to State governance under the ordinance of a CONFEDERACY as provided in this Constitution.

DETERMINE that all forms of sabotage, betrayals and every criminal action intended to jeopardize our nationhood or prejudicing our collective existence shall
be eliminated.

AGREE to establish sanity in our system of government based on our Indigenous modus (We shall operate a consensus and pluralistic structure in our system of
government).

STIPULATE that our system of government, which is constitution based, shall include effective mechanisms in resolving conflict, promote good governance,
eliminate corruption, foster unity, reconciliation, social justice, speedy development, promote orientation culture, multifaceted educational approach, tolerance and nationhood.

We COLLECTIVELY affirm and endorse through a national referendum, the Constitution of The United States of Biafra as a Confederacy on this day 2nd Day

It’s a matter of public record that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has fulfilled all legal requirements of his appeal by filing his brief of argument, motion for accelerated hearing, and a bail application before the Court of Appeal.

Yet, the government has so far failed to file its reply brief, and the court is yet to schedule a date to hear either the substantive appeal or the bail application.

This systematic delay is tantamount to injustice. Personal liberty is a fundamental right. When the main appeal is intentionally stalled by the prosecution's inaction, the bail application must be treated as high-priority.

To be sure, keeping Mazi Nnamdi Kanu incarcerated without hearing his bail application amounts to a violation of his right to be heard within a reasonable time.

The Court of Appeal is therefore strongly urged to act now! Hearing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s bail application has now become more urgent than ever.

Recently, I started talking about Biafra on my WhatsApp, and my friends suddenly started asking me, “Why have you started supporting Biafra?”

I think Biafra is something that people, especially those of us from the South, need to understand properly. We have spent so much time hearing one side of the story that I think it is important to go back, read the history and understand what happened before, during and after the Biafran War.

I have listened to a lot of Nnamdi Kanu’s speeches and read extensively about our colonial history, and I have reached my own conclusion about Nigeria.

The British created the Nigerian colonial structure for their own administrative and economic interests. That is historical fact.

How do you expect a country to function when you allow a particular group of people to heavily dominate another set or group of people? Do you think those group of people you count as inferior are going to be happy about it?

At some point, we have to ask ourselves whether forcing people to remain together is actually the solution.

If you think I am wrong, go back and read about the Southern regions before the Biafran War. Talk to your parents and grandparents who were alive before and during that period. Ask them what the country was like and what changed after the war.

If Biafra exists, do you think people like Soludo or these Igbo elites that are misbehaving, do you think they would do like that? Go and read about how Igbos were organized before merging it as Nigeria. During that period, you can't misbehave, no matter who you are. And this money-driven society we have now, at that time, it was not like that.

This is the reason why these people are fighting so hard for Biafra not to exist because they know it’ll not benefit their selfish interests.

I am supporting Peter Obi because of the kind of person I believe he is and because I believe he can make Nigeria better.

But if you believe Peter Obi cannot rule Nigeria simply because he is Igbo, then I stand for the division of Nigeria.

I will never be part of a country where my people are consistently marginalized and expected to remain silent and do nothing about it.

I am not saying this because I hate Nigeria.

I am saying it because I have reached a point where I believe people should be allowed to seriously discuss what kind of political future they want.

If Nigeria can work fairly for everyone, let us build that Nigeria.

If it cannot, then let us at least have an honest conversation about the alternatives.

For me, that conversation includes Biafra.
