@Jogenfors@AndreasAtETH@qudev@TVOerlikon The Zurich SOLA race started 49yrs ago inspired by a similar relay race in Sweden (which since disappeared). The original organizers brought 'SOLA-Pferd' back as prizes
Congrats also to @qudev’s triathlon icon @BesseJC for winning the #ASVZ#SOLA race with team @TVOerlikon 1 out of 1025 teams.
They did 3:38 mins/km for 114 km.
Our @qudev team did 4:51 mins/km. We came in 2 h 18 mins after them and still made rank 78.
Exciting day for @qudev .
On top of @ETH!
The #quantum computing team of @qudev at @ETH_physics@ETHQuantumCntr on the terrace on top of the @ETH_en main building having a coffee break during its project development workshop.
Do you like the view?
I think it is very nice.
More photos in the next tweet.
The first @qudev Winter Retreat since the interruption by the pandemic was a great success, I think.
Many @ETH_physics and #Quantum Engineering @ETH_en students and researchers of our lab participated in the scientific, social and outdoor activities.
See if you recognize anyone!
New @qudev@ETH_physics@ETHQuantumCntr@ETH_en paper out on @arxiv today on the Calibration of Drive Non-Linearity for Arbitrary-Angle Single-Qubit Gates Using Error Amplification.
This has the potential to make your single qubit gates better!

Check out this new @qudev@ETH_physics@ETH_en manuscript in collaboration with the @FMarquardtGroup @MPI_Light on “Realizing a deep reinforcement learning agent discovering real-time feedback control strategies for a quantum system” on @arxiv today: https://t.co/4tpBSh13D4
I enjoyed the General Meeting of the @ETH_en#Quantum Center @ETHQuantumCntr at Schatzalp in #Davos a lot.
Great talks, excellent posters, engaging discussions and good company.
Check, if you recognize anyone on the group photos!
The superconducting circuits team at the @ETH - @psich_en #Quantum#Computing Hub hopes that the team of the VP Research of @ETH_en had an enjoyable visit today at PSI.
Thanks to Marek, Kuno, Raphael and @BesseJC for making it happen!
Team @qudev of @ETH_physics@ETH_en is getting ready for the 2022 #ASVZ SOLA relay race this Saturday.
14 legs, 120 km, 2700 m altitude difference.
Excited to race!
In 2019 @qudev came in 183rd of around 1000 teams.

First superconducting #quantum bits measured (on a 17-qubit device) at the @ETH_en - @psich_en#QuantumComputing Hub only 8 months after moving in.
A big thank you goes to the great team making it possible.
