ಕರಾವಳಿ ಭಾಗದ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ, ಇದೇ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 18ರಂದು ಕಡಲನಗರಿ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಸಮತೋಲಿತ ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯೇ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ದೃಢ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ.

ಕರಾವಳಿ ಜನರ ದಶಕಗಳ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಮೀನುಗಾರಿಕೆ, ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ, ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ರಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ವೇಗ ನೀಡುವುದು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಧ್ಯೇಯ. ಆಡಳಿತವನ್ನು ಜನರ ಮನೆಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ತಂದು, ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಅಗತ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಮಹತ್ವದ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಈ ಸಭೆಯು ಕರಾವಳಿಯ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗೀಣ ವಿಕಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಸ ಮುನ್ನುಡಿ ಬರೆಯಲಿದೆ.
