Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.
Daddy Stato ha detto che non venderà i bitcoin ottenuti tramite l'estorsione (e ne siete felici);
Così facendo, Daddy Stato ha legittimato l'immagine di bitcoin agli occhi del mercato (e ne siete felici);
We are not the same.
The initial tokens named for the “Crypto Strategic Reserve:

$ADA - No one uses and Founder might be on the Epstein list.
$SOL - Used to commit pump and dump memecoin fraud.

Ross Ulbricht (@RealRossU) didn’t sell drugs—he built an anonymous, free, and open platform on Tor called Silk Road.
Silk Road sold apparel, art, books, collectibles, computer equipment, electronics, herbs, and yeah—drugs. But according to friends who used it, Silk Road was arguably the safest way drugs were ever sold: no street violence, no shady deals, and zero fentanyl. Everything was tested and peer-reviewed, like an Amazon for substances.
For this, the government gave him two life sentences without parole for nonviolent charges, including money laundering—just for using Bitcoin. They relied on questionable evidence and made him an example. Two FBI agents who investigated Ross? Well, a few years went to jail themselves for fraud and stealing Bitcoin from the Silk Road investigation...
So, even if you think Silk Road was problematic, you have to admit that the punishment was wildly disproportionate. This isn’t just about Ross or a marketplace—it’s about government overreach and the state’s power to crush individuals with vague laws.
Today, I’m so happy to hear Ross is free. I’ve met his mom several times—her fight for Ross’s life is an incredible story of a mother’s love. Over the past few months, I’ve been emailing with his wife, Caroline, to ensure he was fairly represented in The Big Bitcoin Book and that they got a copy.
As a developer who has worked with Bitcoin for years, this always felt personal. I didn’t build a marketplace, but it could have been me—or any of my friends—targeted by the government. Ross’s case was a warning shot at innovation, and I’ve always felt connected to him because of that.
Justice came far too late, but today I’m grateful Ross is finally free.
🎉 January 22nd: Ross Free Day!
After 11 years, Ross Ulbricht is FREE—a symbol of freedom and Bitcoin’s fight against control.
Let’s honor this historic moment by building a decentralized future! 🌍⚡️

🇸🇻Just one day after the IMF agreed to a $3.3b loan in return for making Bitcoin acceptance voluntary, El Salvador buys $1m Bitcoin, more than 10x their usual 1 $BTC per day purchase.
I guess the IMF won... 😅
El Salvador normally posts a 1 BTC buy daily, but today it was 11 BTC.
The country also recently received a $1.4B loan from the IMF.
El Salvador might be buying the dip with IMF money lmao.

Gold's biggest shortcoming is under appreciated
While gold has many problems:
-hard to authenticate
-difficult to transport
-difficult to secure (manpower, buildings, trucks, weapons and petroleum)
-uses the most toxic and lethal chemicals in the world that potentially leach into the ground water and nearby streams causing devastating environmental damage
-hard to divide up
-impossible to use for purchasing goods or services
-illegal to cross borders with it
-governments have historically confiscated it
While the above gold problems are meaningful none compare to the gold audit and supply problems.
No one knows how much gold there is in China, No one knows how much gold there is in Russia, No one knows how much gold there is in the USA. No one knows how much gold is in the ground. No one can tell you how much gold there is in the World or in space. There is no known quantity of gold and the amount every government claims they have has never been publicly audited. In order to properly value a scarce or rare asset you need to know how much there is, and subject the asset to constant public audits to maintain a proper understanding of its current supply and value.
The entirety of gold in the world is allegedly worth $17 trillion dollars, $2,700 per ounce, except this is just a guess, there are no public audits confirming the supply or true global value.
Bitcoin solved gold's audit and transparency problem.
All ledgers maintained by humans are subject to manipulation, fraud and errors. The Bitcoin Network fixed this gold ledger problem by creating a network that conducts a humanless public audit on the entire Bitcoin supply and every transaction to ever take place on The Bitcoin Network, every 10 minutes. The results of these audits are viewable by any human with any internet connection, at any time, 24/7/365. All the way back to the very first Bitcoin transaction in 2009. To date over $40 Trillion dollars of Bitcoin has changed hands on the Bitcoin Network and every single dollar of it has been audited to its inception, recorded to the only immutable ledger in human history, requiring no help from humans, and allowing complete transparency and accountability on The Bitcoin Network. Gold's Biggest Problem, that it still relies on humans to transport it, authenticate it, divide it, secure it and most important audit it, was solved by The Bitcoin Network, which is why the $17 Trillion Dollar Value of Gold will be eclipsed by the best store of value ever discovered in human history.
This is why Gold bugs are so mad. This is why Bitcoin has appreciated faster than any asset in the history of the world. And this is why Bitcoin is just getting started.
You know what’s incredible?
$2 trillion worth of value is contained in just 621 GB’s that anyone can download and verify on any computer.
It really does seem like magic.
Every bitcoiner has experienced years of ridicule and insults for believing in bitcoin. When bitcoin hits new all time highs, it is tempting to remember everyone who said something stupid to you and go back and rub it in their face. But you remember that gloating is not nice, and that it is wrong to take joy in the misery of others. And you also fail to remember most of the inconsequential and utterly forgettable nocoiner losers and you can't be bothered to look them up. But this is bitcoin, and bitcoin is different, so I suggest you not let manners or laziness get in the way! Do not resist the urge to point out to the nocoiners they made a huge and very expensive mistake! They truly messed up and could have changed their life to the better if they got into bitcoin. And this was very obvious to anyone who would take the time to see it, but they chose to be smartasses and make stupid jokes instead, and now they're enjoying the consequences. It's important to point out the consequences of their stupidity to them, because most fiaters are incapable of understanding things unless repeatedly told to them by someone in a position of authority.
People who say stupid things about bitcoin are not just making their own pathetic selves poorer; they are also impoverishing all the people who have the misfortune of listening to them. And they are impoverishing the whole world by delaying bitcoin adoption and allowing fiat inflationary debt slavery to continue, with all the poverty and mass murder it creates. Bitcoin needs to be rubbed in the haters' faces relentlessly until they stop saying stupid nonsense about it, or until they lose all credibility and audience. No matter how bad gloating is, fiat money is worse. Manners can wait until after fiat is dead.
So get out there and make a nocoiner cry today, because they should be crying! Their stupid shitcoin has never been more pathetic or less valuable than it is today, and the sooner they cry about it, the sooner we can be done with it.
