@MBitcoiner@Dimi_h Why do you think Bitcoin Knots is hard forked is not good? Hash rate is coming. Decentralisation is being achieved. Network is growing.
Scarcity comes from decentralisation. If 3 big mining pools have 51 of hash rate, this is not decentralisation.
Yes, basically I believe Bitcoin is an ideology.
Now I consider the chain which is more decentralised as Bitcoin chain.
Anyways, BTC2 is more lightweight for node runner and it is more decentralised at miner level. It uses blake2b as hash algorithm to lock the block. Transactions work same way.
@MarkOfBitcoin@SeedSigner@sesi_the_man In my opinion, seed signer will work exactly the same with Bitcoin2.
Because transaction structure is not changed.
@Hankismoodi@SlyGoomba Yes evidence is that top 3 mining pools have more than 51% of hash power.
What will you do when they decide that halving should delay this time only.
Do you think we would have the same profit margin if a coin’s price moves from $1,000 to $2,000, compared with a move from $80,000 to $160,000?
In that case I think mining activity tells something about trend.
@TheBTCKnight But sha256 miners are getting cheaper.
Only people with financial background believe that bitcoin is going to moon. But scarcity comes from decentralisation. Centralisation introduces shitness.
Don’t trust, verify.
@88_sats That’s right. Because it is related to mining industry. All transaction and their structure is same. Nothing is changed.
Shitcoins are centralised.
@BTCForevercast There is not much difference in BTC and Legacy BTC. All transactions before 8 August are same.
I am only waiting for the melt down of sha256 miners into blake2b miners. Ticker will not be the problem.
