@raddishujanai@theoldzealand It’s a nice idea and removes some of the problem of “dead rubber” games, where an already qualified team has an incentive to perform well in last group game. Problem is logistics - not knowing knockout fixtures until very last group game is played.
@TrafficBrokerX@padspoker Tbh the intention is irrelevant here. The issue is more about WSOP floor having a ruling/protocol that allows for angle shooting.
@Topo_G@WSOP@themouthmatusow@shaundeeb@scott_seiver@Moorman1@JustinBonomo Both of these players (Moorman & Bonomo) sought nomination votes on their social media accounts over the last month. Personally not hating on them, but explains how some got nominated over perhaps quieter individuals.
@martinkabrhell@WSOP@NickSchulman I empathise, but the issue is: (1) you briefly said “eight” not “eight thousand” as you claimed; 2) you talk irrelevant stuff around the same time that people easily switch off; and 3) you said “eight” on the flop. The missing change could have been brought up way earlier in hand
@LoftusSteve It’s basically closing a loophole for untaxed cash savings. Agreed bad PR.
Could also have closed this loophole by telling ISA providers no interest can be given on Cash balances in S&S ISA. Curious if that approach have received a similarly negative reception.
@padspoker So bad. Once the word “dead” is said, hand has to be dead. Otherwise it becomes a near risk-free call.
Opponent could angle for a reaction. Or they freeroll you - if they are beaten by your hand they could argue the hand is dead.
@Slopey@AndyHughesCrime@joncraig Right?! Didn’t want to do interview in the first place (tried to cut to studio), light hearted compliment on age went over head, and completely misjudged the room by interrupting thinking @CountBinface would swear.
