Last week in Kilifi, CBCC joined @FAOKenya, @AmplioGhana, @PwaniUni & Master Trainers for a powerful 7-day training under Tushauriane, Tuimarishe Kilimo Biashara. As SBC lead, we’re driving gender-transformative SBC strategies that empower agri-communities from the ground up.
Over the past week, CBCC joined FAO Kenya, Amplio Ghana, Pwani University & 10 inspiring Master Trainers in a powerful training for the #TushaurianeTuimarisheKilimoBiashara project in Kilifi.
We explored participatory tools, challenged gender norms & centered community voices.

Juma, a last-mile seed delivery hero, faced challenges distributing <0.3 tons of sorghum seeds. With a smartphone from #AVISA#CIMMYT, he's using SMS to educate farmers, increasing distribution to over 2 tons across 7 villages. His goal? 10,000 farmers by December 2024!
