Phenomenal detail from @FT obituary of the great Alex Younger, from @charles_clover & @JP_Rathbone:
When Dominic Cummings called him for the first time, he asked Younger what he was doing. “Plotting evil shit,” Younger replied.

Americans have been told to hate Muslims and Asians for the past 60 years by white liberal media and propaganda
so the minute they make articles about Tiananmen Square, Tibet, Great Leap Forward, Cultural Revolution, Uyghur genocide, HK rioters, trying to garner sympathy for these Chinese “victims”
it falls on deaf ears since all Americans don’t give a shit about Asian death
@JohnHemmings2 Peaceful protestors don't fire machine guns at the military, burn military alive and disembowel them. Tiananmen protestors did all of that.
@MadnessWatcher Or he is yesterday's man trying to remain relevant today, except he doesn't recognise that time moved on long ago and yesterday is gone.
@Patrick21611 But anyway. There are many parallels, and quite a few deep ones between the plot of First Light and the Post Office scandal. It is almost certain IOI's writers looked into it and did above average research into it.
@Patrick21611 Should have seen the rage of the British public who got a taste of the delusional inhumanity of the scandal's perpetrators. And you would have been amused at the House of Commons panicking and on the first day back, they had to address it and admit to the enormity of the horror.
