@JohnCleese I read a book by Robert Sapolsky about the brain and human behaviour which includes an analysis of why/how we categorise people who are different. I asked Grok to summarise and explain how this knowledge can help https://t.co/lwE8tiJ8nl
@chrisbbehrens@Teslarati My guess, which is just speculation, is that charging pads have proved quite difficult to get designed for production. They have to cope with 400v and 800v and detect foreign metallic objects (https://t.co/vdWf6arba8 reported on patents for their solutions).
@mekarenholvey2 Most developed nations can require ID to vote. International flights require Id. The consequences of a non-citizen voting without an ID check are very difficult to rectify once voting is completed. Why not?
@stevenmarkryan Great post from Steven emphasising the mind blowing potential of Spacex. But I thought it must have been written by AI until I reached his signature expletive exclamation! π
@nycguy1988@elonmusk@aaronburnett I have no doubt that time will come but I donβt think that anyone, not even Elon can tell you the date. Once it is proven safe enough for crewed flight Iβm sure there will be a period of flying only professional/trained astronauts before taking space tourists.
@TeslaLarry This Musk driven reindustrialization is such an exciting project for investors to be a part of. Of course there are risks and some things may not turn out as expected. I often question what could go wrong but Elon always preempts me & pulls out another rabbit.
@DominicMarcu IMAO you donβt need to flip the photo. These are thrusters not suction. They provide acceleration and downforce. They are not going to be the only thrusters. There will be angled up thrusters as well providing acceleration, braking, turning and lift.
@janglin60@shellenberger@elonmusk Shellenberger has unnecessarily chosen to exaggerate/misunderstand the statistics and failed to investigate specific cases like the TikTok case but English policing and judicial has IMAO over-reached if people canβt express views non-compliant with βNewspeakβ.
@pbeisel Excellent analysis Phil - a very clear explanation . I didnβt pick up from Tesla earnings calls that the development of FSDv15 was such a fundamental challenge for the architecture or that it was so critical for full autonomy.
@NotDrivingDrew@nymbusjp I think that Cybercab production capacity is over 125,000 at GigaTexas when fully ramped. It took under a year to ramp model 3 to 5000 per week. The target for Cybercab must be around 2500 per week, e.g capable of that by April 2027. Meanwhile Cybercabs gotta go somewhere!
