I’m excited to introduce a project I’ve been working on with @ryderkessler: Abundance New York. We are a political community building a New York with more: more than enough homes, public transit, green space, clean energy. More than enough for everyone. https://t.co/WHkCfsKcD8
As @JCColtin reports, other candidates might claim to be pro-housing, but I'm the only one with the record of fighting for:
☑️ 100% affordable housing
☑️ Legalizing more homes citywide
☑️ Speeding affordable housing production
I was with @NYCMayor and @bradlander. They weren't.
New Yorkers! EV starts tommorow!
I want to make one shoutout
For the last few years, we’ve gained lot of quiet YIMBY allies in the legislature. People who will support housing IF this and BUT that
It’s time to finally get a loud ally elected
Vote Ryder Kessler! @ryderkessler
in most of america you experience a title run through a television in a living room you drove to. in new york the game was projected on the sides of buildings and strangers hugged on the sidewalk at midnight. density is just the precondition for collective joy
This is a place where every day you wake up, you could experience everything from a basketball player crashing into our old mayor to a person who's celebrating a new business that's opening
This is what authentic American leadership and pride in our way of life looks like.
It’s friendly and welcoming to the world, eager to showcase and share what we’ve built with people from every corner of it.
“On behalf of everyone across the Big Apple, welcome home my friends.”
"Studies have analyzed how improved lighting can drive down crime. In NYC, researchers identified 80 public housing developments with high crime and installed temporary lights in half. The new lights reduced crime by 35%, without any increase in arrests." https://t.co/x0KI9vNMfY
28,000 riders take the M34 bus every day. It moves as slow as 3 mph (slower than walking speed).
This plan to create a dedicated busway along 34th St. St. will improve bus speeds by up to 60%, speed pedestrian crossings, and make the street safer for everyone.
The dedicated busway on 14th St has been a big success and it will be on 34th as well. Big win.
In New York, you no longer get to drive recklessly over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.
“States shouldn’t outsource housing policy to local govts that tend to have a bias toward the status quo. They should assert more control over lot sizes, multifamily zoning, permitting processes + more. States have an interest in ensuring that they are affordable places to live.”
A major win for housing affordability. It shouldn’t take years of process to approve new homes where people already live.
We’re proud to have been part of the Unlock NY’s Future coalition, led by @OpenNYForAll and @RegionalPlan, to help get this done.

just read Zohran’s housing plan and the part I’m most excited about is the focus on transit oriented development
the subway was first built over 100 years ago to unlock new housing development uptown, and remains the most powerful housing affordability tool we have
I'm so proud that the organization @CV0 and I started just two years ago—to build a New York with more than enough of what we need to thrive—is now a trusted voice in local elections.
The Voter Guide is thorough, thoughtful, and fair. I'm honored to receive its recommendation.
Excited to share what our team has been working on the past few months. Check out our Voter Guide to learn more about an amazing set of candidates who believe in a livable, affordable New York!
The Abundance New York 2026 Voter Guide is here.
This June, New Yorkers will vote in primaries that will shape whether our city and state build more housing, improve transit, deploy clean energy, and make government work better.
