@jens_lund@BoydSwinburn@JohnSpeakman4@garytaubes Jens, seriously, what is going on? The passage I quoted and what follows it has Gary Taubes obfuscatory language all over it. I know you’re a ‘proper’ scientist, but he is not, and this work is not in line with the quality of the rest of your work.
@BoydSwinburn@JohnSpeakman4 I thought @jens_lund was a serious scientist, but this?:
"The other perspective was prompted by the common observation that many individuals appear to accumulate and sustain excessive adiposity even with restricted food intake" Please provide evidence for this anecdote
@ClemmensenC@garytaubes@jens_lund@davidludwigmd Are you and Mr Lund @jens_lund being serious? "The other perspective was prompted by the common observation that many individuals appear to accumulate and sustain excessive adiposity even with restricted food intake" Please provide evidence for this anecdote
@NutritionDanny Thanks Danny. Do you think the conversation needs to change from just ‘athletes’ suffering from red-s to anyone who is undereating? Seems the red-s focus is on athletes but when you run the numbers everyday dieters will fall below the threshold, many even before they add exercise
