@N104AP Apparently bcrypt has a 72 byte input limit, so they're just passing it straight into bcrypt which is like, fine? 72 is still huge

I have since seen that bcrypt (a common algorithm for password hashing, for those unfamiliar) has a 72-byte input limit which is probably why this happened (though you could do sha256 first and feed *that* into bcrypt but at that point just use 2FA)
