A very simple change of signage here can significantly improve the lives of riders traveling between Queens and Brooklyn, saving them from having to use their phones for navigation
@NYCMayor@NYC_DOT@ZohranKMamdani@TransAlt some friends and I went to see king gizzard and the lizard wizard @ForestHillsStdm
We rode our bikes in the pouring rain to and from the show and on the way back took Queens Boulevard missed the turn onto the kosciuszko bridge
There was a sign on the corner of 42nd and Queens Boulevard for cyclists to make a left turn to a bridge but 42nd terminates abruptly at I-278 with no further direction to the bridge. The cyclist turn indicator should be on the corner of 43rd and Queens Blvd
The “manly” Chad alpha male image’s are some of the gayest crap I’ve ever seen.
Can you debate Trump on foreign policy, economy, national security and public safety?
Oh wait… Ron loves War and amnesty…
Hey @JoeBorelliNYC , not sure if you’re a Vonnegut fan or not but I just read Mother Night and it might be one of my favorites by him. Highly recommend
If you're dead inside, go outside. Whether you're taking a walk in a park or hiking in the wilderness, spending time in nature can improve mental health and cognition. Where is your favorite place to spend time outside? Photo by Courtney Celley/USFWS.
@OCATCooc Gregg has no concept of generating gross receipts or how to functionally run a business enterprise. Movie reviews do not pay the bills. Tim quite subtly experimenting with income generating opportunities (ie; Rio Genesis, RJ’s Shakes, live music etc.) allow Gregg to give reviews.
wolf blitzer got me and now i’m forced to publicly reveal my secret shame: I look at Twitter at red lights and the parts of those one lane highways where the speed limit drops to 35 when you pass through small towns
On September 11, 2001, the Taliban controlled Afghanistan and we know what happened. When we remember the 20th anniversary of 9/11 next month, the Taliban will again control Afghanistan.
Either way, I'm sure I'll be back when shit gets crazy again because there's really no other way to piece together what's going on short of being there yourself
Anyway, Twitter is lame. Here's my review after my longest sustained use since 2014.
I do like how there are all of these completely different corners of Twitter. Twitter is probably the best way to connect with people who you are otherwise pretty removed from.
But sit on Twitter for 30 minutes and you'll pretty much always be like "uh, that was 5 minutes? wtf"
I dunno, maybe it's possible to use this in moderation. And if you've got like business needs, I guess this is a good platform. I dunno
