17 year old patient with bowel obstruction. Surgeons opened the abdomen and saw that one part of the intestine had slid inside the next part like a telescope. This is called intussusception.
It happened because large growths called polyps pulled the bowel inward. These polyps come from Peutz-Jeghers syndrome, a rare genetic condition that causes many soft growths in the gut and dark spots around the mouth.
In the video the surgeons hold the shiny pink bowel and gently open the folds to check the stuck areas and the polyps. They free the telescoped parts and remove the growths so the blockage does not keep coming back.
I just woke up to watching Messi tribute videos on the timeline and I’m in literal tears. The biggest mistake I ever made as a football fan was not appreciating you more Leo. This app almost made it feel like loving both you and Cristiano Ronaldo was a crime. It isn’t.
Woke up at 2 am to watch the greatest of sportsman of all time and as he so often does he did not disappoint
Thank you 🐐 Dr Lionel Andres Cuccitini Messi
The joy you have given me via this sport I can not even explain ❤️
