I request all international human rights organizations to raise their voice against the massacre of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers in Islamabad, Pakistan, on 26 November night in which according to eyewitnesses scores of political activists have been shot dead and hundreds injured by security forces.
In addition, I want you to help the people of Pakistan ensure the safety of the PTI’s founder and former prime minister, Imran Khan, whose life is in danger in prison following the massacre.
Khan is the leader of Pakistan’s largest political party, who was indicted on trumped-up charges and has been imprisoned for one and a half years.
Whenever courts grant him a bail in one case, the military-backed regime re-arrests him in another case. Justice is not being delivered.
Political activists, including women, have been continued to be unjustly imprisoned.
On behalf of millions of Pakistanis,

With more evidence emerging, the number of dead and missing persons continues to rise after the #IslamabadMassacre. Meanwhile, the government has confiscated hospital records, preventing families from collecting dead bodies or accessing mortuaries. Hundreds of workers remain unaccounted for following last night’s brutal attack, as authorities reportedly barred anyone from retrieving the injured or deceased.
These are the protesters confirmed dead as a result of direct firing by security forces. The death toll continues to rise as more evidence comes to light. This horrific act of state terrorism was nothing short of a premeditated massacre, exposing the brutal use of force against unarmed civilians.
