@AutismCapital Also for families that want their kids to play real games and revisit classics together with them. New games for kids these days are terrible for actually learning skills. Everything is spoon-fed. You can’t die. There’s constant dopamine and distractions. There’s no challenge
@EFHutton123@CaryKelly11 False. If you feed your children real food from the get go, they learn how to avoid choking quickly. Our second never had baby food, and never gagged let alone choked. Our first, we fell into the baby food trap, and switching to real food was confusing and led to a few scares.
@randyholloway@KTmBoyle@waitbutwhy So true. When I hear kids crying on the plane, my initial reaction is to feel bad for them now. It’s scary. Their ears may not be able to handle the pressure changes. Let alone everything else going on.
@slovak83@patrickc@OpenAI@stripe They also note in the blog post the same thing: whether or not Instant Checkout is available is factored into product rankings
@toly Facts. I think about this all the time. But at least in your case, they couldn’t make Solana. I have nothing they couldn’t have done better than me. Except babies. I make good babies.
🚨ELON MUSK: "This year we hope to make about 5,000 Optimus robots...but even 5,000 robots is the size of a Roman legion FYI. That's a scary thought, a legion of robots. I think we'll literally build a legion of robots this year, and maybe 10 legions next year? It's kind of a cool unit: units of legion." 💀
"It will be ready to be used outside of a Tesla controlled environment second half of next year. We'll offer Optimus robots first to Tesla employees."
@Caerarc@dioscuri Out of everything that ranked as one of the more believable lines for me. Similar to intuition, it’s not quantifiable but sometimes love does physically pull you towards people, friends and family, and you’re not really sure why!
@FinHistory@NTFabiano That’s exactly why seemingly normal experiences can be so overwhelming for kids with ASD, and it’s so hard to understand why it is overwhelming for normal folks. But educationally ASD can be a benefit through linking more things together faster and differently. Many pros and cons
So many great tips in here already. All I can add is: try to learn to harness it as a superpower, because it truly is. But you have to be honest about your weaknesses as well. And don’t get addicted to the meds. They’re a trap. You can be just as productive, but more importantly, much happier without them in the long term.
@iBobbyShell It’s not just income—It’s culture. Some women are ashamed to say that they are a stay at home mom. Or in other cases, an experienced and engaged nanny is simply better at it. Unfortunately not all moms are the best at being moms. But they can work a corporate job just fine.
@elonmusk Yes. I was debanked because I’m in crypto, as was @Gemini. The number is probably much larger than 30, thats just in the a16z portfolio alone. They also assassinated several banks because they banked crypto companies. Totally unlawful, evil behavior.
BREAKING: The storm surge for Hurricane Milton is expected to be 15 feet.
To give you an idea of how deadly this is, here's what 9 feet looks like:

@mattrw25@ObsidianVerdict@keithrudd711@NbergWX You only need enough energy to initially create the storm as it is self-sustaining and possibly growing on its own once formed enough. The lifetime energy expenditure is interesting but irrelevant.
@RobertKennedyJr I love this and fully support it, but what eight chemicals were banned under Trump’s last presidency as claimed here? I couldn’t find any evidence of this, only that he supported deregulation even in the food industry, potentially resulting in more harmful additives.
