It's World Space Week!
This year's theme is "Rocket Revolution" — celebrate with us by looking back to the launch of Artemis II, powered by our Space Launch System rocket and its 8.8 million pounds of thrust. Learn more about SLS: https://t.co/1w344Bl1zF
I built Venus in my browser engine 🌋
Two superrotating cloud decks with the Y-shaped trail, a dark polar collar and night-side lightning.
Beneath them, 7 volcanoes at their real coordinates glow through: Maat, Sapas, Ozza, Idunn, Sif, Gula and Theia Mons.
#ScreenshotSaturday
The lightning: storms wake up on the night side, flash in clusters with up to three strokes and forked channels, then go quiet again.
All three.js, all live in the browser.

The volcanoes are ones where Magellan and Venus Express data hint at recent activity. Each has a lava lake of cracked crust plates with glowing seams and bursting bubbles, fed by surging channels, and lights the clouds above it from below.

The clouds: each deck is its own shell of warped 3D noise, stretched into east-west streaks. The upper deck casts shadows on the lower one, which lags behind and churns in reverse. Up close they separate for parallax.

@_can1357 Amazing, however having many agent teams work at the same time with OMP is no problem on a mac with CMUX. But in Tern the whole OS lags. The git diff addition replaces 5-10 VSCode windows for reviewing so thats great. If the lag is fixed we can also use Tern for AI on macs.
🌷ETHDam: A Platform for Privacy and Freedom
We didn’t want the lessons of ETHDam to be forgotten, which is why we’ve reflected on the key moments from ETHDam 2024. Want to know more about what we stand for? 🦦

ETHDam 2024 highlighted the tension between innovation in privacy technology and the complexities of unclear regulations. Cases like Alexey Pertsev’s serve as a stark reminder that navigating the regulatory landscape is as essential as driving technical innovation.
