A fire broke out at Dattani Tower, a 12-storey residential building on Kora Kendra Road in Borivali (West), Mumbai, on Friday afternoon, civic officials said. The blaze, reported at 2:18 pm, was confined to electric wiring, installations, wooden furniture, household items, and an AC unit in a 1,200 sq. ft. flat on the 7th floor.

Thick smoke was seen billowing from the affected floors, causing panic among residents. No injuries have been reported. Mumbai Fire Brigade teams reached the spot swiftly, and firefighting operations are currently underway. Further updates are awaited.
