@poorlywhoorly@danepps DingDuff is a very good legal research tool with lots of access to databases (and Dan should probably integrate it for better access than just court listener)! Seems like that is just one piece of this, which also has workflows for cite checking, typos, etc.
@M5squared@DuBoseDefense@followingnews99@ASFleischman Greetings. This may in the right (wrong) case amount to malpractice. There are many cases in which courts have held that pattern jury instructions incorrectly state the elements of a crime! Here’s one, you could find others! https://t.co/51SnH7Nhar
@dilanesper That’s not really what this evidence says, though, is it? These are interviews with uninvolved fraternity brothers, and they are saying the rumors they heard after the fact were that it was all consensual. Not that a “rumor of consent” was the basis for anyone who had sex w/ her?
@taylorthetator@Romy_Holland@theashleyray 200 people jumped out of the upper floors because the smoke and fire were bearing down on them. Even without collapse, those above the impact zone mostly had minutes to live. And there was no real way to get to the fire to put it out. They were doomed.
@Romy_Holland@theashleyray Probably not so drastically different. There was no way to get through the impact zone in the north tower. Something like 90% of deaths were above the impact zone. What were firefighters going to do when they got there? In the south tower maybe a few hundred extra evacuations.
@talkng_tomyself@NateSilver538 How is the punishment aggressive?? I would say, given the report, it’s surprisingly light. They flagrantly violated one of the core integrity rules repeatedly, proactively covered their tracks, and lied during the investigation!
