Your plate doesn’t need to be complicated.
Fill half your plate with vegetables and fruits, add a source of carbohydrates matooke, sweet potatoes, rice, posho or cassava, add protein: beans, peas, eggs, fish, meat or milk, include a healthy source of fat e.g avocado, groundnuts
I’m not thirsty, so I must be fine, Not necessarily watch for possible signs of inadequate fluid intake, such as:
Dark yellow urine
Headache or difficulty concentrating
Unusual tiredness and dry mouth or lips.Don’t wait until you’re very thirsty. Make fluid intake part of you.
For the first 6 months, babies need only breastmilk.
It is safe, nutritious & provides all the energy & nutrients infants need to grow strong and healthy.
Let's make breastfeeding possible for every mother, everywhere. Let's strengthen what works. 🤱💙

This morning I carried out Nutrition and Health education and also exchanged ideas with patients at Gulu R.R Hospital Chronic OPD. It’s important to understand the patients’ perspectives in every guide that you give because behavior change requires simulations beyond knowledge
What Are Breastfeeding Disabilities?
A breastfeeding disability is any condition that makes it hard for a baby to breastfeed effectively, affecting latch, sucking, swallowing, or coordination.
This world breastfeeding week we create awareness over this topic @NutritionistsUg
