It also applies to platonic relationships.
I recently had a situation with a work colleague where it was apparent that their intentions were not genuine. This realization hurt me so much. I’ve been trying to process those feelings, and your point about protecting your heart through day 100 is spot on. Maybe it should even be day 1,000.
