Day by day, it’s becoming more clear that betting against $iren is a bet against $nvda
$iren is a lower cap, higher volatility directional bet on Jensen’s vision to sell more than just chips, but the whole stack
DSX design paired with DGX hardware and GPUs plugged into secured grid infrastructure will lead to the most efficient AI token factories in the world to compete against hyperscalers
Nemotron open source models will serve as a gateway drug to guide enterprises and governments to create their own proprietary hard forks in the name of data sovereignty
What is true, is that $IREN playbook is revealing in a different way.
When I first bought last year, looked more like a mix of big colo / cloud deals + "smaller" enterprises. At that time, I thought we would start seeing a flow of multi B deals coming in quick.
Now we've seen massive capital raises, ATM, C-suite level up, NVDA architecture, marketing strategy, software acquisition. And this week a CISO out of Nutanix, NVIDIA HPC security, etc.
You don't hire that guy to secure a bitcoin mine. You hire him when you intend to sell to governments and regulated enterprises.
That's the part I got wrong. It's not that they're slow to sign. It's that they're not starting a plan, they're finishing a stack. CPO out of Oracle Cloud, CDO, now CISO. Mirantis for orchestration. Those are the pieces you need to turn raw powered capacity into a sellable enterprise / sovereign product.
And it lines up with the other thing I keep hearing, they'd rather wait until the data centers are close to done before signing. A deal on a DC that isn't built is a piece of paper. Sign into real racks instead, at better prices.
So the sequencing makes sense now. Build the capacity, assemble the stack, then sell. Not the other way around.
This definitely requires more patience.
But we're further along than day one, and the market may start pricing it in earlier than execution shows up.
@GavinSBaker@cryptomiami1 That’s where $IREN gets interesting. Lowest-cost AI compute becomes a competitive advantage, and its deep relationship with $NVDA positions it to capitalize if token demand explodes while inference costs collapse.
@vasilist Nailed it. Plus, the longer you wait to announce future deals, the better the economics become—assuming demand continues to accelerate. That's a win-win.
@ZaStocks Pretty funny how short-sighted everyone is. SpaceX signs two phenomenal deals, yet people didn’t realize Meta was obviously trying to accomplish the same thing. Clear as day.
@theallinpod@Polymarket Gavin Newsom is a complete moron too.
Record homelessness, rampant crime & retail theft, businesses & Californians fleeing in droves, insane taxes, failing schools, and energy blackouts.
All while he jets around preaching “leadership.” Pure performative failure.
