I still need to put something there, but this is the official place for information about me and where to find me.

@phoronix ISO? The ones you have to pay ~200 euros if you just want to know how to write down a date? They count as having open standards?!?
https://t.co/KrTHg24Cbu
@phoronix That sounds good at first, but really isn't sensible on closer inspection. The autokill will fail to also kill processes created by the child process, so you still need cgroups. Autoreap means now you can't rely on wait() and you may not be able to get proc stuff before it's gone
@EvanLuthra That said, capitalism is also at play between nations. That may end up the real problem to resolving all this. A nation can redistribute it's own companies profits, but it can't prevent them from moving elsewhere, with the money.
@EvanLuthra Work for works sake doesn't actually improve anyones lifes. Just take a look at what happened during the great irish famine, where people were made to work more. but no more food was made available.
@rmhrisk I have DANE set up, and would love it if I could just use it with any application including browsers, but currently, most applications just don't let me do so...
@rmhrisk If I (can) use a local CA, CA pinning, and/or DANE, should not depend on the application and if it implements those, but be controlled by config files read by the TLS library. The TLS libray should not provide different APIs for those, but just one, and let the config decide.
@phoronix@AMD This is a terrible approach, this should be done in a simple gpu vendor agnostic way. Since this is a container, for gpu usage, you can just allow it access to the drm render node. For kms, give it the drm card node. For individual outputs, give / revoke drm leases as needed.
@marc0_dev@jmduke It's really easy. I did literally nothing. Because my site does not use any external services. It has no ads. It has no cookies not absolutely necessary for the basic functioning of the site.
It's just respecting privacy, instead of harassing users and stealing their data.
@SwiftOnSecurity Thanks to oauth, you now can't just connect from any mail client to any mail provider you want anymore. The mail client devs needs to get a token from every single provider (which will have instantly leaked by design unless thr client is sass itself).
I guess that's imap, though.
@_everythingism@Shitty_Future Maybe they do, It's not like doing it yourself will prevent claims it'd be AI. They are forced to adapt to the reality of the system.
@MatthewBockholt I think you are missing the point. The truth, reality, the past, etc. are not physically there / can't be seen, but they are still important and valuable. Fakes undiscernable from the real are a problem, but that does not contradict that the real has value nor imply the fake does
