• Open drains and accumulation of food waste observed
• Prepared food items stored without proper labels or date markings
• Worn-out chopping boards and iron knives in use

• FBO instructed to suspend kitchen operations until thorough cleaning and corrective measures are completed
• Immediate compliance with food safety norms directed

A small but important win in the fight against dust pollution in Kokapet.

Last week, I raised the issue of unchecked construction activity and lack of dust control measures with the Cyberabad Municipal Commissioner. After a follow-up call to understand the concerns, I’ve now received an official update from the Narsingi Circle office.

Notices are being issued to builders across Kokapet for violations and to enforce dust control measures. The matter has also been forwarded to the Telangana PCB.

This is just the beginning. I’ll continue tracking this closely to ensure notices are served and measures are implemented on the ground. Will raise it again if needed.
