@thorstenball Me whenever people say they have to read all the AI code. Who cares if it makes a poor architecture decision that comes back to bite in 5 years, the cost of fixing it is almost 0.
@1Ronin_Jedi@gfodor@sethharpesq AI is what you can make of it, if all you can use it for is a glorified search engine that is your limitation, not the tech's.
@poteto People who think we're going to talk to our agents more than type are probably home alone too much. Yes, text is the final form, until/unless they develop some minimally invasive brain reading tech so we can control them directly with our minds.
@GrunthortheDino@miketoles@paraschopra You're simply way too stupid to understand those articles and I'm not in the mood to explain them to you, but no, you're entirely wrong.
@colemurray Two things can be true at the same time, devs still make the best apps using AI, far beyond what a non-dev can, and also the demand for devs has cratered, drastically, and is likely to continue for a while. At least in terms of jobs, for indies it's probably the best time ever.
@travismakes I've resorted to explicitly tell it to never estimate things and assume effort of implementation is 0, otherwise whenever I try to brainstorm with it it tries to suggest temporary solutions or MVPs like bro, just do the whole thing
@aramh They absolutely do not, and you people are deranged. Matrix multiplications do not understand anything. You're a mathematician, you should understand that, but apparently you're too deranged to think.
@bradneuberg And how exactly is it useful to have multiple developers using AI working on the same code base? What sort of mega ultra giga project would justify more than one developer using Claude? None I've ever worked on but idk maybe you're landing rockets on the Sun or something
