Warning - Please put down your coffee! I thought I'd deliberately post a completely out of context quote from another who enjoys copying and pasting quotes from social media: Please feel free to take his post literally & support our cause @Mohammad12akib @OneLevenshulme :-)
An individual paid by the authorities: I question how much they stand to lose if cycling is not the priority concern? This is not an endorsement for the Boardmans SLR 9.6 currently retailing at £3,300, but is an illustration of why we have to fight so hard for equality.
#lovelevenshulme#levenshulme https://t.co/0ukLfz8NaX Many thanks to our guest speaker @Mohammad12akib and many thanks to our councillors @Dzidra78@bernardstone@basat_m for listening. It really matters that you care. Here’s to learning lessons from other peoples mistakes.
@bernardstone@Dzidra78@basat_m Genuine Question... Is @Chris_Boardman even aware of the issues specific to Leve? Does he even care? Is he willing to engage with the community or does he still have faith in the project team that MCC have had cause to remove?
@Chris_Boardman So @Chris_Boardman says "nice blog" is this essentially saying that you are telling lies @bernardstone@Dzidra78@basat_m
"there's no scenario where our community will gain from £2.5 million of improvements for walking and cycling without the widespread use of modal filters. "

@LittleNinjaUK This is old - from about 6 months ago - but I'd like to share it again to remind people how manipulative the people involved in these projects can be. @OneLevenshulme are still fighting but @Chris_Boardman and others still think this behaviour is ok.
#levenshulme#lovelevenshulme Planned Abuse of Emergency Measures to bring forward Road Block plans without proper engagement with the community were foiled by MCC.
LBN alone to blame for the failure of their pet project.
@Chris_Boardman Oh and just to be clear @Chris_Boardman is retweeting comments from a dismissed member of the project team....... I want an LTN, but a fair one- and @Chris_Boardman clearly has no concept of equality nor fairness if he supports this project.
@Chris_Boardman Project team in Levenshulme already spent £285,000 of MCC money to produce a map. Project at best poorly managed, but probably negligent from start to finish. If @Chris_Boardman wants to support this project, let's assume he is complicit. And then he can answer the questions..
@Chris_Boardman It’s language like this that gets my goat. “LTN Haters?” I know very few- I do however know an extremely large proportion of my neighbourhood who have had enough of people who don’t live here and think they know better. Democracy will win in the end-even you can’t undo that!

Message to all LTN haters (I appreciate not many of you) Most of these are TRIALS Have you really got so much to lose that you can’t even try...?
Plus, if you’re right then they come out and your case is strengthened!
If you’re right, it’s in your interest to support trials 😀
@HydrogenCoach@stephenblom@Chris_Boardman@ScotRail I’m old. Well atually not that old, but at 7 years old i could get on a train anywhere with or without my bike, and without booking. I’d just walk up to the guard’s carriage and that was that. Why not bring the guard carriage back on every train??
The Waltham Forest scheme is used as evidence to launch LTNs across the UK but take a closer look. Car use & car ownership didn't significantly reduce. Traffic on the main roads increased and this was with a £30m investment not a couple of planters and a road closed sign.
@Joewriteswords @run_ride_walk @Chris_Boardman@MCCLevenshulme@ManCityCouncil You’ve hit the nail on the head, this is the second consultation after our community kicked off royal about the poor quality of the first. And we get the same again!!!!! Give me a break!https://t.co/x1YEOFElgD
@Chris_Boardman@Chris_Boardman It completely accurate to say that residents on the bordering roads of LTN's are having their health taken away!!!! Increasing traffic and pollution on these residential roads is not the way to do this. https://t.co/EsnUnym8A5
