@maraantonoff@NateDeboever@MDAndersonNews@AATSHQ@NateDeboever gave a great presentation on an important topic. More and more the financial burden of Tx is shifted to patients with life altering effect. Looking forward to more work from your group on how surgeons can be part of the solution!
@FarhoodFarjah Missed the voting, but also a strong yes. I as @LindaMThoracic said, this is congruent with trial designs, so not doing a frozen eval brings you into a data-free zone. I think this is going to be more and more important and underscores the value of working closely with patholgy
Great talk today by @charlesloganmd@NM_Lung at the Western Thoracic on the opportunity for surgeons to help improve transitions of care for adjuvant treatment after lung cancer surgery. A sign of a good talk is the line at the mic to continue the discussion! #tssmn#wtsa2022
@KateEEngelhardt As long as you continue to avoid those burns from the harmonic scalpel youโre still winning!
As for the second question...probably just means youโre a cardiac fellow right now
This past summer, I filmed something for @NorthwesternMed that you can see on ABC Nightline, 11:35pm March 3. If youโre not up late, record it, because you wonโt want to miss it.
I couldn't sleep! Too much coffee or maybe just looking forward to tonight's ISQIC Advisory Committee meeting. Lots of smart people (I'm dumbest) in one (virtual) room planning how to improve surgical care for our Illinois pts! @ISQIC1@NU_SOQIC@kbilimoria@NMSurgery@purplesurg
T4 #ctcareers. Even if you are in teaching institution, I would try and do as many cases on your own early on (not with trainees). You need to build up your skill as an attending. Hard to be a great teacher your first year or two in practice.
T4. Donโt try to know everything just because you are an attending. Asking for help is a sign of strength and makes your partners and the rest of the hospital community trust you more. #CTCareers
