This week @SRTRC_England NW team are delivering an anti racism train the trainer programme to Yorkshire Prison Group. 21 enthusiastic staff members from our 7 prisons volunteered to deliver this training in our region. 1/2
The next day @HMP_Humber with @k_tsintsadze to discuss the experiences of ethnic minority prisoners and ways of building better relations with staff. No magic wands but a drive to implement positive change and engaging leadership are key to inclusion for all! #YPG_D&I #ZMT
Very productive week in @YorksPrisons! In partnership with @ZMTRUST@k_tsintsadze visited #HMP_Hull for an equalities meeting and prisoner race forum. Both insightful in terms of positive practice and areas we can build on for both staff and prisoners. 1/2
The number of prison leavers in employment within 6 months has more than doubled from 14% to 30% since April 2021.
