@SpaceDonkey8 @i_iratus @paulboughton101@Claire33Claire@ThatAlexWoman Imagine all your possessions get destroyed by a missile or bomb. You're gonna want to leave any way you can no? Look at how we accepted people from the European continent with open arms, but god forbid they're from further away.
@mindoverdata@RealJillWalker So what I want to take a car somewhere where there is no speed limit?
E-bikes are limited because they have absolutely no safety features.
@transit_jam@cyclegaz@DVLAgovuk I mean, it's a silly idea (I'm a driver, I leave the cycling for the trails 99% of the time). But could do a "personal plate" so it's not tied to a bike but to a person?
@exert2020 @FranCragnolino @Carroll_NIR At the turn-in point they're equal. Ahead means ahead. Not along side with a mm of front wing past the other car.
@let_part@AstroMikeMerri@ediz1975 Indeed, but you also just completely ignore the bit where he started driving with the road clear, then another car turned into the main road so the driver had to stop where to avoid a crash. What should the driver do? Backing up Is an option, but staying still is predictable.
@italianjo @h_m_williams @Jenny_1884 I suppose this sounds top picky to some, but the houses that cost 3x the salary in the 80s would have been bigger for the cost, hence the whole average thing.
@italianjo @h_m_williams @Jenny_1884 You live in a 1 bed 1 bed apartment with absolutely 0 space for any hobbies to make life less miserable and let us know how it goes. Not to mention the most common area seems to have absolutely horrific crime rates. That doesn't sound like a place to start a family or anything.
@benjyminty@ruth_murran@SaskiaHeijltjes@clrjoannawright@20splentyforus@KinderaufsRad Because a cyclist ain't going at walking pace, otherwise you might as well just walk. A cyclist hitting a pedestrian will cause a fair bit of damage (not as much as a car, but much more than merely walking into someone). We can't pretend cycles go at walking speed.
@mhantain@Derek84164 because with headphones you block a lot of outside sound, especially with music playing as well. In a car with speakers, unless the music/radio/whatever is excessively loud, you can still hear whats going on around you better than when wearing headphones.
