@rashiq @SergioRocks If you have to sure but your productivity will suffer which becomes increasingly costly when you have to work on production support issues. Thinking of having to debug prod on a raspberry pi gives anxiety to the point I would consider quitting the next day.

@AdamRackis Tried one corp job and decided they are all the same. Short sighted seems like the correct term for this, I agree the odd jobs approach instead of other office jobs seems like a directionless approach as well. But I’d wager this is a loud minority rather than more general.

@xakpc @tdinh_me It’s an unfortunate reality, when hiring I look for side projects being mentioned on the resume, if they aren’t there or I can’t view/interact with it, a coding problem is usually the next go to. Though, I can’t say that’s the norm from my experience.

@FitFounder Exercise is great, never thought to just bust out a set to failure for acute stressors. Might give it a go next time. I find that cold exposure works extremely well when I feel chest pressure from anxiety. Kind of like a hard reset. It’s good to have many tools.

@BravesNinja2 @rainy_steve @elonmusk @Walmart Docs prescribe drugs for off label use all the time. That being said I agree that it doesn’t sound like the best idea. Then again people have been injecting themselves with other drugs/hormones for decades, just add another one to that list.

Tonight I did one of the hardest things to do as a dad.

After a 16 hour day & leading a long family walk tonight to look at Halloween lights, then wrangling my toddlers into pajamas & reading them books it was finally time to shut it down & relax.

ME TIME FINALLY.

Then my 8 year old daughter comes in with big tears in her eyes……
