We became desperate by the damn system you are apart of that says this is as good as it gets for you. Our 15 min Dr. appts are insulting!

@BickuriB0x @drgarymcgowan @function I can see your point for sure. I consider my doctor to be better than most and he’s been appreciative of the information I’ve provided. We’re a team and he’s the leader. I think having a baseline marker is useful to track changes that may otherwise go unnoticed.

@drgarymcgowan @function A lot of us turned to Function or the like because we weren’t getting enough help from our doctor’s. Definitely not healthcare, good for really sick people but for many of us who chronically don’t feel well and don’t want to just be prescribed meds, the new options are empowering

@ZKForTre I’m jealous of your hscrp mine is 10.0 and my doctor can’t figure it out. Ezetimibe took my ldl from 140 to 80 within a few months, can’t do statins unfortunately but looking into adding Repatha if I can get insurance approval.

@CoachDanGo I’m guilty of contributing, mine aren’t super soft and they all have amazing work ethic but there’s something valuable in struggling and I didn’t let that naturally occur enough. Rescuing isn’t always helping.

My doctor isn’t like that at all. I told him about the Cyststin C test to use with people who are taking Creatine and he looked it up while I was in the room and thanked me for the information. We’re a team and he’s not self righteous at all. He does tell me when I’ve been led astray by Dr. Google/AI which I appreciate very much.

@sophaller Unfortunately you’re wrong on the data centers, they are necessary in this world. I agree farm land shouldn’t be used. Less regulation on farmers would improve the use of farmland.
