Under the title “A Year After Liberation: The Diaspora’s Role in Syria’s Renewal,” the event brought together experts, stakeholders, government officials, and members of the diaspora on the eve of the first anniversary of Syria’s liberation. Panelists discussed the economic and political ways in which the global Syrian diaspora can contribute to Syria’s reconstruction and the full restoration of its role in the international community.
