Guys romanticize high revenue without profit. You’ll see a big number, take home 2%, and feel like shit. It hurts knowing you’re not making money and putting it into your bank account. After paying your team, apps, courses, etc. you end the month in red.
If you need to stay smaller to fix the fundamentals, do it. You’ll win more. Better ads. Better offer. Better backend. Better product. Don’t let the guys ahead of you make you lose sight. They built the fundamentals. So don’t skip them in your journey. Build that skill.
