HE Dr Leila Benali, Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development for the Kingdom of Morocco, along with Hua Liu, IAEA Deputy Director General and Head of the Department of Technical Cooperation, formally endorsed Morocco’s Country Programme Framework (CPF) for the period spanning 2024–2029 on February 19, 2024.

The CPF serves as a guiding blueprint for the strategic allocation of technical cooperation between the Member State and the IAEA over the medium term, pinpointing priority sectors where the transfer of nuclear technology and technical cooperation resources will be channeled to bolster national development objectives.
