A massive rally was held today across all Kuki-Zo-inhabited areas of Kuki-Zo Land under Kuki Women Union and Kuki-Zo Human Rights Commission.

The rally highlighted the silence of the state government and New Delhi when innocent, unarmed civilians Thangboimang Khongsai and Thengin Baite were brutally tortured and murdered by an armed group NSCN. The rally also highlighted alleged interference by top political leaders within @BJP4India in an audio leak tape case involving Nongthombam Biren Singh @NBirenSingh.

The rally also condemned the airlifting of injured cadres of the armed group NSCN by the Manipur Government after they attacked, killed innocent people in, and burned down Mulam Village. Rather than arresting them, the Manipur State Government, New Delhi, @manipur_police, and @NIA_India allowed them to receive treatment at RIMS Hospital, Imphal as if they were VIPs.

The rally also condemned and highlighted the alleged involvement
of Nongthombam Biren Singh @NBirenSingh and MP Leishemba Sanajaoba @MaharajaManipur private Millitia Arambai Tenggol. The concerned authorities must investigate this thoroughly.

The rally demanded justice, truth, and accountability for:
1. The audio leak case involving Nongthombam Biren Singh @NBirenSingh. Leaders in power are urged to stop interfering in the investigation.
2. The attacks on Litan Sareikhong, Mongkot Chepu, Thawai Kuki, Shangkai, Mullam, Chassad, and Songphel villages by armed groups NSCN, which resulted in killings and arson.
3. The alleged involvement of Nongthombam Biren Singh @NBirenSingh MP Leishemba Sanajaoba @MaharajaManipur private militia Arambai Tenggol , which must be thoroughly investigated.

Some ammunition that was used in the Mulam attack today was seized by Kuki volunteers after NSCN-IM cadres were running helter-skelter for their lives. The ammunition has markings indicating it is government-issued ammunition.

Now, the question is: Did the Meitei state government supply ammunition to Chinese-trained and Pakistani ISI-backed Tangkhul secessionist narco-terrorists of the NSCN-IM? Or did they get the ammunition from Nongthombam Biren Singh @NBirenSingh and MP Leishemba Sanajaoba @MaharajaManipur’s private militia Arambai Tenggol, who looted government armories with the help of Nongthombam Biren Singh @NBirenSingh when he was the Chief Minister? On 24 April 2026, armed cadres identified with the Tangkhul Naga Long and the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (Isak-Muivah) launched an attack on the Kuki village of Mullam. The assailants, reportedly equipped with automatic weapons, targeted civilian areas, resulting in multiple casualties among Kuki residents. Several homes were also set on fire during the assault.
